Robot Taxi is a civic-technology platform for road safety, designed, built, and operated from Kingston. We’re a small team of technology enthusiasts who care deeply about what happens on Jamaica’s roads. We’re engineers and builders, and we decided the problem couldn’t wait for another five-year procurement cycle. So we did something about it.
Reduce road fatalities in Jamaica through citizen-led intelligence. Observations get captured on phones already in every pocket, run through a Trust Engine that separates signal from noise, and fed back to the institutions that can act on them: insurers, enforcement, and the public.
We are a civic platform. Our product is a verified behavioural signal delivered to institutions that already decide premiums, coverage, and claims outcomes. It is not a tool for identifying individuals to the public.
